Non-Stop Airlift to California

A monthly summary of non-stop seats to California, including total domestic and international airlift, as well as a breakdown of airlift by market into California.

• In October 2025, California’s domestic air travel recorded 9.9 million non-stop seats to destinations across the state, 2.1% decline from October 2024.
• Internationally, Visit California’s 13 priority markets accounted for 1.5 million non-stop seats to the state, marking a 1.8 % year-over-year decrease.
• Among overseas markets, the Japan and the U.K. had the largest volume of nonstop seats to California, although airlift from the U.K. market has trended negative each month of 2025, declining 13.1% in October.
• Non-stop flights from India were also pulled back by half (-50.6%) as a result of Air India flight reductions. Airlift from Italy to California was up 35.4% and Mexico and China airlift were both up 8%.
